생성형 AI 에이전트는 여러 단계의 질의나 지시를 거쳐야 달성할 수 있는 수준의 질의에 응답하거나 지시를 수행합니다. 한 단계의 질의나 지시와 구분하기 위해 목표라는 단어로 구분하고, 이런 목표 수준의 지시나 질의에 응답하는 기능을 구분하기 위해 “AI 에인전트” 개념을 사용합니다.
코파일럿 에이전트
AIPilotSmarteasy는 업무 전문가를 ‘업무 파일럿’이라 하고, 업무 파일럿과 협업해 생성 업무를 수행하는 기능을 “AI 코파일럿”이라 합니다. AI 코파일럿은 업무 파일럿의 질의에 응답하거나 지시를 수행하고 결과를 제공합니다. 어떤 AI 코파일럿에 어떤 생성 업무를 시킬지는 업무 파일럿이 정하고 구체적인 지시를 합니다.
코파일럿이 어떤 역할을 어떻게 수행해야 할 지를 알고 있다면, 업무 전문가는 코파일럿과 협력을 좀 더 효과적이고 효율적으로 할 수 있습니다. 이런 경우 목표가 역할로 정의되어 있고, 여러 번의 대화를 통해 협력하기 때문에, AI 에이전트 수준의 코파일럿이 필요합니다. AIPilotSmarteasy는 이를 “코파일럿 에이전트“라고 합니다.
파일럿 에이전트
업무 전문가가 코파일럿 에이전트와 협력하던 일을 AI 에이전트 기능으로 할 수 있는데, AIPilotSmarteasy는 이를 “파일럿 에이전트”라고 합니다.
목표가 주어지면 파일럿 에이전트는 목표를 달성할 전체 계획을 수립하고 그 계획을 실행하거나, 한 번에 한 단계 계획만 세워 실행하고, 그 결과를 보고 다음 단계 계획을 세우고 실행하는 과정을 통해 목표 달성에 근접에 가는 방법을 사용할 수 있습니다. AIPilotSmarteasy는 목표 달성을 위해 전체 계획을 세우고 그 전체 계획을 실행해 가는 파일럿 에이전트를 “PlanNavigator”, 한 단계 계획만 세워 실행하고, 그 결과를 보고 다음 단계로 넘어가는 파일럿 에이전트는 “StepwiseNavigator”라고 합니다.
Generative AI agents respond to queries or execute instructions that may require multiple steps. To distinguish these multi-step tasks from single-step ones, we use the term “objective.” The capability of an AI to respond to these objective-level queries or instructions is what defines an “AI Agent.”
Copilot Agent
AIPilotSmarteasy refers to a domain expert as a “work pilot” and the function of collaborating with a work pilot on generative tasks as an “AI Copilot.” An AI Copilot responds to the work pilot’s queries, carries out instructions, and delivers results. The work pilot determines which generative tasks to assign to an AI Copilot and provides specific instructions.
If a Copilot understands its role and how to perform it, the work expert can collaborate more effectively and efficiently. In such cases, the objective is defined as a role, and collaboration occurs through multiple interactions, necessitating an AI Agent-level Copilot. AIPilotSmarteasy calls this a “Copilot Agent.”
Pilot Agent
When tasks that a work expert would collaborate on with a Copilot Agent can be handled autonomously by an AI Agent, AIPilotSmarteasy refers to this as a “Pilot Agent.”
Given an objective, a Pilot Agent can either formulate a complete plan and execute it, or adopt a stepwise approach where it plans and executes one step at a time, using the results to inform the next step towards achieving the objective. AIPilotSmarteasy calls a Pilot Agent that creates and executes a complete plan a “PlanNavigator,” and one that takes a stepwise approach a “StepwiseNavigator.”
